Rick McKinney partied with Charlie Sheen, interviewed Julia Butterfly in her tree, had a beer with Chris McCandless on his ill-fated Alaskan trek, thrift shopped with Robert Downey Jr, wined with Maynard of Tool, dined with Jack Holzman founder of Elektra Records, talked chaos with Werner Herzog, and hiked the entire 2200-mile Appalachian Trail. Rick was uninvited to Hunter S. Thompson's funeral for drunk-dialing Owl Farm the night before with an Aspen ski resort heiress. He snuck in anyway. Rick lives on a ranch outside Bisbee, Arizona.
