Johnny Joseph

Johnny Joseph is a software engineer and audio researcher based in Atlanta. He writes about the intersection of technology and Japanese music culture, deconstructing how iconic sounds are engineered and produced.

His debut book, The Architecture of City Pop, explores the life and studio techniques of Tatsuro Yamashita. He is currently working on upcoming titles about the history of video game music and J-Rock music theory.
