Frederick Halde

Born on December 3, 1994, Frédérick Halde is a French-Canadian author driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling, travel, and imagined worlds. A truck driver by profession, he spends much of his life on the road, where long distances and shifting landscapes continually feed his creative imagination.

A dedicated photographer for many years, he has developed a keen eye for atmosphere, place, and silence — a visual sensitivity that deeply influences his writing. A devoted reader since childhood, he was shaped early on by science fiction and fantasy, genres that ignited his fascination with vast worlds, lost civilizations, and characters faced with profound choices.
