Joy Elise Fox

Joy Elise Fox, born in Scotland in 1935, is a distinguished entrepreneur and speaker with a career spanning government and private sectors in Canada and the U.K., specializing in meeting planning, protocol, and leadership. She founded Conference Management Services and the Canadian Association of Independent Meeting Planners, now called CanSPEP, serving as its first president, and has received numerous awards, including the Joyce Fox Award, named in her honour, for Innovation and the Evelyn Hannon Award for Solo Travel.

Joy has taken more than 80 solo trips around the world. Now residing in Parksville, BC, she remains active in community involvement, travel, and creative pursuits, living what she calls her "Blue Zone" lifestyle.
