Corey D. Sturdivant

Dr. Corey D. Sturdivant (Dr. Stu) is the senior leader and founder of Champions Christian Community Church. He is a USAF veteran and a lifelong student. Dr. Stu holds a Master of Arts in Religion with an emphasis on discipleship and a Doctorate in Ministry (Pastoral Counseling) from Liberty University. As founder of the Champions Leadership Institute, he is passionate about addressing mental health disparities in the African American community through church-based counseling centers. his latest work, "Since You Won't Go to Counseling," gives real life advice, insights and tools to help people understand and overcome the challenges preventing them from living the life God intended. Dr. Stu has been married to the love of his life, Jennifer, since September 2000. They have two adult children following in his footsteps as military service members and pursuing higher education.
