Bob Ballard

Bob Ballard was born and raised in Houston, Texas. While attending the University of Houston, he wrote many short stories and poems, several of which were recommended for publication by his professors.

As a youth, Ballard watched violent crime increase in Houston. He was personally impacted by this violence, losing two childhood friends to murder. As the crime rate continued to rise—not just in Houston, but across the country—Ballard's frustration grew. Now an adult, he was angered by a dysfunctional and sometimes corrupt criminal justice system, which had helped fuel the growth of violence. He also felt deep sympathy for the victims and their families, who were often left physically and emotionally scarred. Their pleas for justice too frequently went unheard.

These books are dedicated to the victims of the flawed justice system in the United States. The author sincerely hopes his novel will help their pleas for justice rise above the loud laughter of criminals released by a broken system.
