Harry H Black

Harry H Black has lived in Cambodia for the past five years, and previously spent a number of years working and living in Vietnam. Harry has also worked in Myanmar, Bahrain, Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Emigrating to New Zealand from Kent, U.K. as a young man, Harry has worked most of his life in the hospitality industry, mostly in senior management roles, and has an MBA from a New Zealand University. Married twice, Harry has finally settled down in the town of Siem Reap with a Khmer partner and lives a quiet life. His first novel was about the search for a lost temple complex in the jungle areas around Mondulkiri in north east Cambodia, and is the first in the Jack Rourke Adventure series. In his second book, Coral Grave, Jack discovers his soulmate on a salvage dive off the coast of Tonga, leading to a quest for an ancient artifact that takes them across New Zealand. The Blue Diamond Affair, the third Jack Rourke adventure, is based on a famous true-life case involving the theft of a priceless jewel, corruption in high places, and a mystery that to date has never been solved. Coming later this year - a new Jack Rourke adventure involving a dramatic prison escape attemp in Thailand and thrilling chase through Cambodia.
