Ali Issa

Ali Issa is a writer and speaker whose work explores faith, character, leadership, Qur'anic reflection, and the lifelong work of becoming.

Before turning more fully toward his writing and community work, he spent thirty-five years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, including years developing and evaluating leaders. He retired from corporate life in 2025.

Born in Kuwait to a Palestinian father and Syrian mother, Issa spent portions of his childhood in Syria, Lebanon, and Kuwait before coming to the United States at the age of eighteen. He has lived in West Virginia for more than four decades.

He is the author of eight books exploring faith, character, leadership, personal reflection, and Qur'anic reflection. His writing has appeared in Islamic Horizons, including What the Treaty of Hudaibiyyah Reveals About Teams Under Pressure and Leadership Without Argument: Lessons from Surah Ash-Shūrā on Restraint Under Pressure.
