Kris Webling

I am an artist and author originally from England, where I went to school, studied and qualified as a nurse in 1990. In 1992 I emigrated to the USA, living in Georgia for many years, raising my two children and working full time as an RN specializing in home health & hospice. I always enjoyed art and the theater, as great escapes from the stress of being a nurse ! In 2018 I moved to Daytona Beach, Florida. Having painted a series of paintings I called "The Pirate Children", I wanted a way to share them with my grand children, so pieced them together to tell the story of each painting through the eyes of the children. This became my first book "The Pirate Children". Having retired from the nursing profession, I looked back at how different things were from when I had first started out as a brand new nurse and this became "Nurses Notes - Spilling The Tea & Nitrous Oxide". My artwork can be seen in a Daytona Beach gallery and also at the Daytona Playhouse in select productions. You might occasionally even spot me on stage !
