Navya feels most alive in open spaces—under stars, near glaciers, e-biking toward sunsets. She’s terrible at dancing (she pretended her way through her own wedding), but give her a camera and she’ll happily capture the joy of strangers getting married or the intricate expressions of classical dancers.
She has a PhD in biology, works in IT, and lives in Colorado. A Cynic’s Sabbatical is her first book—if you don’t count her PhD thesis. She’s fairly certain there will be another in the next five years, possibly sooner. She’s not a procrastinator about most things, but when it comes to adopting a dog and committing to winter walks, those decisions freeze harder than Colorado in January.
