ANDREW FAGAN

I was born and raised in a single-parent family in an ungentrified part of London. I didn't complete my formal education and left school aged 14. After numerous twists and turns, I returned to education in my mid-20s.

I have become an internationally recognised scholar and educator. I have published several books and many scholarly articles on issues such as human rights, social justice, identity politics, and culture wars. I am currently writing a book entitled Human Rights and Culture Wars, which is due to be published by Bloomsbury in 2027.

Recently I have returned to my love of fiction, which enabled me to mentally escape from my deprived childhood, and have written my first novel, Scaling the Ladder.

I play tenor saxophone and am a passionate supporter of Millwall Football Club!
