Patrick Casey

Patrick Casey is the author of the forthcoming children's book Type Wonder: The Diabetic Superhero (March 2026). He is also a Strategist at Google. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age fifteen, Patrick writes to help kids and parents affected by the condition, hoping to inspire the youth to take care of themselves in ways he struggled to as a teenager. He lives in Los Angeles, California (born and raised in Sacramento, CA), where he films short documentaries of his friends and plays basketball.
