Amelia Plastina

Amelia Plastina is a Canadian Christian author and the founder of Rise With Me, a community for people learning to meet God in the life they never planned.

At twenty-two, a car accident left Amelia with a brain injury and a future that looked nothing like the one she had imagined. Living with an ongoing disability has shaped both her faith and her writing, giving her a tender understanding of grief, uncertainty, and the longing to feel understood.

Her devotional, This Is How You Rise, makes room for honest questions, unfinished healing, and the everyday ways Jesus meets us there. Through Scripture, personal reflections, and journal prompts, Amelia invites readers to come to God without rehearsing a braver version of themselves.
