AJ Gurrola

AJ Gurrola is an author of picture books that inspire deeper thinking on subjects like truth, wisdom and lifelong love. Her children's books combine humor and story to encourage critical thinking, and are enjoyed by both children and adults. Her most recent book, Bear Song, is a picture book for adults that employs lyrical poetry to celebrate a lifetime of committed love.

AJ Gurrola has a bachelor's degree in teaching and has taught writing to all ages from kindergarten through high school. Originally from Seattle, she now lives in Western Kentucky with her husband of over 40 years.
