Believe it or not, I started writing The Point of Pursuit in eighth grade! Now, in my senior year of high school, I've finished it! Yes, I know I procrastinate! There are plenty of people, music, films, books, and other media that I could thank for contributing to my silly little endeavor. Never in my life did I think I would have written and published an actual book! It's really crazy to think about. I'd say I truly am living life to the fullest, haha!

However, I do want to touch on the fact that no AI was used in the writing of my text. I've seen plenty of statements such as this from favorite directors and writers of mine, and now I can understand why. My time working on this book has made me realize just how much artificial intelligence has begun infiltrating our art. When I started writing this, AI in school wasn't even a thought, and now half my class turns in papers written by ChatGPT. So, I am tremendously proud to say that no AI was used in the writing of this text. Zero. If we want to continue making art that resonates and compels people to feel, to create, and to inspire, then we need to begin with our own thoughts and ideas.

Now, enough about that! There may only be twenty people who read this book, but either way I am happy! Its taken much longer than I first indended to get this sucker out, but in all honesty, I don't mind too much. I'm doing this purely out of enjoyment anyways!
