Kevin Goodman

Kevin Goodman is the Lead Pastor of First Baptist Dry Prong in Dry Prong, Louisiana, where he has served for nearly four years. Over the past decade, he has faithfully pastored two churches, with a heart for preaching the Scriptures clearly, shepherding people patiently, and helping believers grow in confidence and hope in God’s Word.

Kevin holds a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Leavell College. Before entering full-time pastoral ministry, he worked as a commercial airline pilot, an experience that shaped his appreciation for discipline, preparation, and trust—qualities he now brings into his preaching and leadership.

As an author, Kevin writes to help everyday Christians think biblically and thoughtfully about Scripture, especially in areas that are often confusing or debated. His recently published book, Millenium in the Middle: Reconciling Dispensational Longing with Amillennial Hope, aims to encourage careful study while fostering clarity, humility, and hope within the church.

Kevin and his family live in rural Louisiana, where he continues to serve the local church with a pastor’s heart and a deep love for God’s Word.
