Jayanthi Priya is a Mindset Coach for Athletes and Sports Parents and the founder of SheRises Sports Hub, a platform dedicated to building emotionally strong, confident young athletes.
Her journey into mindset coaching did not begin in a classroom or certification program—it began on the sidelines, as a sports parent.
When her son, a promising young footballer, suffered a major injury that brought his professional sporting dreams to an abrupt halt, Jayanthi witnessed firsthand the emotional impact of pressure, expectations, setbacks, and identity loss on young athletes and their families. Like many parents, she found herself searching for answers beyond physical training and performance—answers that addressed confidence, emotions, resilience, and mental strength.
This turning point led her to study and work deeply in the area of athlete mindset, emotional regulation, and parent support. Today, Jayanthi works closely with young athletes across multiple sports and age groups, as well as with parents navigating the intense demands of competitive sport. Her approach focuses on helping athletes manage pressure, overcome self-doubt, build resilience, and develop a healthy relationship with performance—while guiding parents to become calm, supportive anchors in their child’s sporting journey.
Through her coaching programs, workshops, and writing, Jayanthi advocates for a balanced, compassionate approach to youth sports—one that values mental well-being as much as physical skill, and long-term growth over short-term results.
Her book Game On reflects her lived experience as a sports parent and her professional insight as a mindset coach, offering clarity and reassurance to parents who want to support their children without pressure, fear, or burnout.
