About the Author
W. Bevan is a Canadian author from Sidney, British Columbia, whose stories live somewhere between the ordinary world and the things we cannot explain.
A former member of the Canadian Armed Forces and a lifelong lover of hockey, the outdoors, and the supernatural, Bevan has always been drawn to stories that explore fear, mystery, and the unknown. Long before he began publishing, he spent years building characters, worlds, and impossible situations in his imagination. Writing eventually became the place where those ideas could take shape.
His work spans dark fantasy, supernatural horror, romance, thrillers, and adventure, often blending the familiar with something darker lurking just beneath the surface. Whether exploring ancient creatures, unexplained phenomena, dangerous obsessions, or the things that follow us into the dark, Bevan’s stories are built around one question:
What if the impossible were real?
He lives on Vancouver Island with his wife and three children. When he isn’t writing, he can usually be found outdoors, near the ocean, watching hockey, or searching for the next story hiding in the shadows.
For W. Bevan, some stories are invented.
Others are simply waiting to be discovered.
