The Treasure Hunter Files began as something simple: a dad telling stories to his two adventurous boys. But as those bedtime tales grew, they became something more—a way to pass down the same life lessons he hopes his sons will carry with them long after the stories end.

M.C. Deeter is a former U.S. Army Ranger, having served in the 75th Ranger Regiment, where discipline, teamwork, and resilience were not just values, but a way of life. After his military service, he continued a career dedicated to helping others as a physician assistant, working in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, and orthopedics. Through those experiences, he has seen firsthand the importance of courage under pressure, perseverance in the face of adversity, and the strength found in working together.

Those same principles now live at the heart of every Treasure Hunter Files adventure.

Each book in the series is built around a core value that families can share and talk about together:
