Izes Calheiros is an educator, pastor, and published author. She is an alumna of the Baptist Theological University of São Paulo, Brazil, and holds an M.A. from Wheaton College Graduate School, Illinois, USA.
Izes has served as Chief Executive Officer and Accrediting Coordinator of the Evangelical Association for Theological Education in Latin America (AETAL) and as Chair of the International Council of Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE). She has authored and co-authored articles published in Portuguese, Spanish, and American theological journals.
As a church planter, she has equipped ordinary Christians to fulfill their ministry in the Body of Christ. Her passion for the ministry potential of both men and women has fueled her search for the biblical keys to harmonious and effective ministry.
In 2001, Dr. Ralph Neighbour Jr. Invited her to Join the pastoral team of the Touch Family Church, in Houston, Tx. She has authored various books in the three languages she speaks. Her current primary interest in biblical research focuses on the prophetic books of the Bible and end-times prophecies.
She is an international speaker who travels to different countries, speaking mainly on the themes addressed in her books. Presently, she pastors Servant of Nations Church, a multiethnic cell-based church in Houston, Texas.
