Candace Brown

Candace Brown is a Philadelphia native whose love for poetry began in grade school while attending a performing arts school. From an early age, she found power and expression in words, using writing as a way to explore emotion, identity, and experience.

When she is not writing, Candace works as a neonatal ICU nurse, caring for some of the smallest and most vulnerable lives. Her work in healthcare deeply influences her creative voice, reinforcing her belief that writing is a form of healing for both herself and those who read her work.
