Heather Vandermeyden is an author, international speaker, and near-death experiencer whose life was transformed after a catastrophic medical crisis left her in the ICU for three months. During this time, she experienced a series of near-death experiences that reshaped her understanding of life, death, healing, and the nature of consciousness.
Today, Heather shares her story with audiences around the world, offering hope and perspective to those navigating grief, trauma, loss, or spiritual awakening. She serves on the board of the Utah chapter of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), where she supports a global community of near-death experiencers, researchers, and spiritual seekers.
Heather is also a mother to two children she first encountered during her near-death experiences — a truth that continues to shape her work, her faith, and her sense of purpose. When she is not writing or speaking, she can be found hiking in the mountains, paddle boarding, exploring interior design, and savoring the quiet beauty of everyday life.
