Reviews of The Flavor of Sin:

I read The Flavor of Sin, and what stayed with me wasn’t the brutality — it was how controlled everything feels. Federico’s world is polished, curated, Michelin-star precise, and that restraint is what makes the horror land. It feels less like a conventional thriller and more like a story about consumption — how cities like Venice sell beauty while quietly erasing people who don’t belong to the performance. It’s perfect for readers who enjoy authors like Jean-Christophe Grangé or Thomas Harris, where the setting is as important as the crime itself.

Cecilia Hawthorne

This book is perfect for readers of atmospheric, intelligent psychological thrillers. Fans of dark European noir and readers drawn to originality over formula.

Eleanor Jones

Overall, this is a compelling and unusual read, and I would definitely love to pick up the next book in the series. This author is definitely one I’ll be watching.
