BJ Spaulding

Retired federal law enforcement officer, US Army veteran, father of three and seven grandchildren. Divorced, living in northern Rhode Island. I have been writing since high school, mainly fiction and fantasy stories. Avid reader, keeping myself motivated to learn. I love music, play the French Horn. I was trained as an Army journalist and wrote for a newspaper and spent time with the Army Test Command in public relations and showcasing military R&D in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I was a federal police officer for almost 32 years and spent much of that time in Training, gaining numerous certifications as weapons and self defense instructor as well as anti-terrorism and active shooter response. I love the outdoors and spend as much time outside as I am able.
