Randall Scott

Randall Scott, a native of North Carolina, recently returned to the United States and currently serves as Tennis Director for the City of Burlington while also traveling on the ATP Tour with Japanese player Leo Vithoontien. With over 35 years of experience spanning 25 countries, he has directed programs at prestigious clubs, hotels, and resorts; led clinics and camps for national associations; founded and co-directed three tennis academies; and developed successful after-school programs at international schools in Thailand.

Randall worked for five years with Peter Burwash International, the world’s leading tennis management company, and has traveled extensively with players on the ITF Junior and Professional Tours, as well as the WTA and ATP Tours, coaching athletes ranked as high as No. 20 in juniors and No. 150 professionally.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Philosophy, Randall later spent 25 years living and working throughout Asia, studying Zen, Buddhism, and Taoism. With over 30,000 hours on court, he has guided more than 9,000 players—from club level to Olympians and Davis Cup competitors—developing a holistic “Inner Way” approach. The Inner Way of Tennis, Sport, and Life is the story of that journey.
