Mae Harcourt writes young adult dystopian fiction. Her debut novel, Nothing Out There, the first in The Ellington Project trilogy, hits shelves March 10th, 2026.

Mae lives in sunny central Texas, where you can usually find her obsessing over books, pampering her dog Oliver, or hunting down new coffee shops to fuel long writing days.

From a young age, Mae has been fascinated with Dystopian literature, complex worlds, and the exploration of identity and the human experience in worlds that aren't too unlike our own. A lover of all things dark and twisty, she's honed her skills on crafting stories that keep readers up at night. (In a good way, of course.)
