Anna Marinos

Anna Marinos grew up sneaking bites of spanakopita in her grandmother's kitchen and that's pretty much where her love of Mediterranean food began. She studied Nutritional Science in college, though she almost quit sophomore year (memorizing biochemical pathways wasn't exactly what she'd signed up for). A hands-on cooking course pulled her back in and showed her what she'd been missing: the connection between real food and real health. That realization became her career.

For decades, Anna has focused on making Mediterranean eating approachable, especially for seniors who want to feel better without overhauling their entire lives. She's not interested in complicated diet rules or bland "health food." She'd rather hand you a 15-minute recipe, a short grocery list, and a glass of red wine. When she's not testing recipes, she's probably driving 45+ minutes to explore a new farmers' market with her cavalier King Charles spaniel, Sandie.
