BIKASH MOHANTY

About the Author

Bikash Mohanty is a writer who observes everyday life closely and questions what most of us accept without pause.

With a postgraduate degree in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and over three decades of corporate experience across the telecom and manufacturing sectors, his writing is shaped by both academic inquiry and lived organisational reality. He has worked inside hierarchies, led teams, witnessed power at close quarters, and seen how decisions ripple through real lives.

His work focuses on de-complicating common misconceptions and gently dismantling myths that surround work, leadership, family, and success. Rather than offering grand theories, he writes to bring clarity, often by demystifying accepted ways of life that rarely get questioned.

He is the author of four books, three works of fiction rooted in contemporary Indian professional life, and one wisdom handbook written for parents and children navigating change together.

Bikash lives and works in India. He believes that sometimes the most powerful insights emerge not from answers, but from asking better questions.
