Steven Paul Amodio

I was born at yale new haven hospital in 1959. I had my father... who came to america from italy when he was three...and my moms family from nancy france. I had three sisters and a brother. My father was a good man in his heart...but the korean war brought out a side of him that made life a living hell for my mother..brother and i at times. Which got worse over time. Then suddenly my brother didnt feel well..and that night he died at yale newhaven hospital. My little sister died three months later. The sadness and hurt in my heart made me angry at God...i blamed Him for all the suffering i lived through. Contiplating suicide...a friend brought me to church on August 31,1983.i heard how Jesus died for my sins on the cross..and my sin was keeping Him from being with me...untill i got born again. Since then i was ordained as a youth pastor..pastored a church... wrote childrens stories. Raised my son and daughter as a single dad...and now i have to telll the world how the very God i was blaming...was waiting to save me and give me new life from the ashes.
