Derek Leman

Derek Leman is a Realtor and writer in Atlanta, Georgia. He has an M.T.S. in Hebrew Bible from Emory University and served as a pastor for over twenty years. Derek writes theology for people who don't have a theology degree and explains the Gospel and life with Jesus in a simple, engaging style. Derek authored about a dozen books between 1998 and 2014, took a long hiatus from publishing, and is now writing with a new focus in 2026. Derek believes that: God saves. And he saves sinners. He rescues failures and reprobates as well as high achievers and saintly souls. Saving is his work, not ours.
