Omar Alyafi

Omar Alyafi is a Syrian writer, entrepreneur, and founder of Uncaged Truth - a platform dedicated to exploring how authoritarian systems shape the human mind, ambition, and the way we build businesses and societies.

Born and raised under the weight of dictatorship, he brings a rare combination of lived experience, business insight, and psychological observation to his work.

After building companies across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Omar witnessed firsthand how the hidden rules of authoritarianism follow people long after they leave the regime. His writing focuses on the invisible wounds - the fear, mistrust, self-censorship, and distorted success patterns that quietly influence leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.

The Invisible Cage is his first book and the beginning of a larger mission: to help people understand the psychological cost of oppression and to reclaim the clarity, confidence, and ambition that authoritarian cultures suppress. Through Uncaged Truth, Omar aims to create a space for honest self-reflection, cultural healing, and a new way of thinking about human potential after trauma.

He lives in Kuala Lumpur, where he writes, builds businesses, and continues his work on future books that blend psychology, culture, and real-world strategy.
