Niki Corradetti

A Computer Science graduate with over twenty years of experience in Information Technology, he specializes in Artificial Intelligence, business automation and complex systems.

Since 2005, he has taught historical fencing at the Sala d’Arme Achille Marozzo (SAAM) and is a co-founder of the SAAM Bononia chapter. He is the creator and organizer of "Bononia Docet," an international symposium established in collaboration with the University of Bologna to bridge the gap between academic research and the technical reconstruction of historical martial arts.

His historical research focuses on the Renaissance fencing master, specifically through the reconstruction of biographical profiles and the analysis of the socio-economic landscape of the 16th century. He currently serves as the editor of the "Origini" series for the National Academy of Fencing (Accademia Nazionale di Scherma), an editorial project dedicated to the critical edition of ancient fencing treatises.
