Margaret Ferry writes heart-warming tales of wonder, folklore, and friendship. Inspired by the landscapes and legends of Ireland and the north of England, her stories invite children to believe there’s still a little magic in the world.

Her debut chapter book, A Very Merry Krampus, blends cosy adventure with festive mischief as three siblings discover a magical realm hiding just beyond the winter woods.

When she isn’t writing, Margaret can be found exploring folklore, creating puzzle books, and dreaming up new adventures for young readers. She lives in the UK and shares her creative world with illustrator Gavin Sodo, whose artwork brings her stories to life.
