Gary Charles is a Montreal-based author, entrepreneur, and storyteller whose work spans nonfiction, public policy, and character-driven fiction. He is the founder of MSB Books and the creator of the Joe Bloe™ Guides, a series that makes complex topics—like cholesterol, human metabolism, and AI—accessible to everyday readers.

His flagship nonfiction title, The Economic Comeback, offers a bold roadmap for rebuilding Quebec’s prosperity through smarter governance, modern infrastructure, and a renewed culture of ambition. His first fiction novel, The Singing Politician, will be released in May 2026.

Gary’s writing blends evidence, clarity, and human insight, shaped by decades of business experience and a lifelong curiosity for how systems succeed—or fail. He lives in Montreal with his wife and is the father of three adult children, one of whom recently married. When he’s not writing, he’s usually reading, researching, or out on a tennis court somewhere on the West Island.
