John D. Sword, Jr.

I was born and raised in Panama City, FL. The oldest of four children to the local police chief, my mom and dad were lifers in the area. Both sides of our family settled in this part of northwest Florida in the middle 1800's. So, to say we are true locals is a bit of an understatement.

I have been a singer, songwriter, and musician since I was 4 years old when I started learning to play the drums. I have been in bands, traveled the country, cut records, and even had a small television show at one point. I dabble in blacksmithing and leather working. I do some wood projects from time to me and I love the outdoors. I am an avid gun enthusiast and love a wide variety of music and stories. I have an absurd movie collection, over 1,000 titles in all, and walk the fine line divided Star Wars and Star Trek! (I love them both).

My creative energies cause me to hop from project to project as the inspiration strikes me. I have authored many short stories and have been attempting for several years now to draft a novel. While I do not consider writing to be one of my strongest suites as far as my skill are concerned, it is one of my most favorite things to do.I am a husband and a father of two amazing daughters. Both of whom are outstanding writers and so I have my own in-house editing staff.
