Raymond Bryant

Raymond Bryant, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner dedicated to caring for individuals across all ages and in every setting, including hospitals, long-term care, outpatient treatment, and substance-use recovery. His approach is grounded in compassion, lived experience, and a deep commitment to serving communities often overlooked.

Raised in Robbins, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago marked by poverty and violence, Raymond understands firsthand the challenges many of his patients face. He joined the U.S. Army at a young age, where he discovered his calling in the field of nursing. With determination and perseverance, he continued his education and advanced his career, ultimately earning his Master of Science in Nursing and becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Raymond’s passion for giving back is personal and profound. After losing his younger brother to the very streets they grew up in, service became more than a profession, it became his purpose. He is determined to share the knowledge he has gained, both inside and outside the classroom, offering insights that he believes every healthcare provider should have.

Through education, community programs, and increased access to mental health services, Raymond strives to create meaningful change and uplift those who need it most.
