Devin Finigan is the author of A Kitchen on Goose Cove and the James Beard Award–nominated chef-owner of Aragosta, a celebrated dining destination in Deer Isle, Maine, recently ranked the #2 restaurant on Food & Wine Magazine’s “Top 20 US Tastemakers” list.
A Vermont native, Finigan moved to Maine at the age of 20 and steadily worked her way through the kitchens of the Blue Hill Peninsula. She later refined her craft as a stagiaire in the world-renowned kitchens of Thomas Keller’s The French Laundry and Per Se, as well as Dan Barber’s Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
In 2013, Finigan founded Aragosta, where she continues to cultivate her distinctive vision for hyper-local, coastal Maine cuisine. Her cooking highlights the region’s seasonal bounty while offering guests an immersive dining experience rooted in the natural beauty of Deer Isle, where she lives with her two daughters.
