Shiladitya “Shil” Niyogi is the bestselling author of “How Businesses Grow” and “Lean Customer Engagement”, both published by SAGE Publications across the US, UK, and India. Acclaimed for his ability to turn real-world insights into compelling narratives, his books climbed into Amazon’s Top 100 Business Bestsellers and drew praise from thought leaders around the globe. He has shared his insights on School of Startups Radio, various Management Magazines, and through his own podcast, “Driven” where he interviewed bold entrepreneurs carving their path through uncertainty.
Shil went to the prestigious Delhi Technological University for his Civil Engineering undergrad, where he started the Creative Arts Society to cater to the innovators there. He wrote a series of articles on the emerging Indian Insurance market there for The Economic Times, a leading Indian financial newspaper.
He received his MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management, specializing in entrepreneurship and marketing. At Anderson, he cofounded a student-run newsjournal on new management styles and innovations, for distribution to entrepreneurs.
But behind the strategist’s mind lies a lifelong seeker of deeper truths. Since his college days, Shil has explored the hidden dimensions of the mind—lucid dreaming, out-of-body experiences, and spiritual consciousness. His journey has taken him from silent corners of academia to intimate dialogues with spiritual circles in Los Angeles and Chicago.
Now, for the first time, he brings those obsessions to life through fiction in “Run Dad Run” blurring the line between what’s real and what’s beyond. This is more than a story. It’s a descent into the unknown, shaped by a mind that’s walked the edge of logic and mystery."
