John Ambury

John Allan Ambury is a Canadian author whose work blends literary fiction with myth, memory, and place. His stories explore the quiet forces that shape families, landscapes, and the moments where ordinary life brushes against the timeless.

He is the author of The Constellations Trilogy—Constellations of Stars, The Mirror of Dawn, and Echoes of the Constellations—as well as standalone works including The Bell. His writing is rooted in Celtic and Highland-inspired myth, generational legacy, and the belief that places remember those who live deeply within them.

John lives in Alberta, Canada, where he writes under his imprint, Tide & Thread Press. When he is not writing, he studies folklore, walks quiet roads, and listens closely to what stories leave unsaid
