Chad T. Dyar is an author, coach, and performance systems architect whose work spans leadership, communication, personal transformation, and the Heart Dog SEL Series for children. His mission is simple: help people grow through clarity, emotional steadiness, and frameworks that honor both ambition and humanity.
Chad started as an opera singer, performing in productions like Rent and La Bohème. Thirty years of music, improv, and stage work taught him to listen with intent, shape narratives that move people, and treat performance as a system. He shifted from stage performance to organizational performance, learning sales enablement, coaching, and strategy. That reinvention became the foundation of everything he does now.
Today, Chad designs global programs that prepare people to find success by strengthening communication, improving coaching consistency, and building systems that lift both results and human capacity. He's known for bringing warmth and rigor together to create frameworks that feel personal and scalable at the same time. He treats AI as a thinking partner, designing tools that reflect how people work, not how we wish they would.
Chad has written leadership books like How to Talk to Humans, Performance Whisperer, and Bring Your Best Self to Work. He has three more coming: Performance Is Personal, Performance Amplified, and Think On Your Feet, Land On Your Numbers. He's also written dark fiction (the Nightmare Trilogy), a series of stage plays (The Gospel Trilogy), and the upcoming satire Humbled to Announce.
The Heart Dog SEL Series was inspired by his three dogs: Wick, Maya Rudolph, and Benny Hartz. The books teach children how to understand big feelings, practice calming skills, make choices when overwhelmed, and feel safe with trusted adults. The series includes The Wiggles, the Woofs, and the Why; The Bark, the Snort, and the Squeak; The Sparkle, the Snuggle, and the Song; and The Lap, the Park, and the Pup Cup.
Chad lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with his partner and the three pups who appear in his books. When he's not writing, he builds AI-powered learning systems, coaches executives, and mentors emerging leaders. He still blends art and architecture into everything he touches.
His belief is constant: Performance should feel human. Growth should feel possible. And clarity is one of the greatest kindnesses we can offer each other.
