Jules D’ISEP is a Canadian author whose work explores the hidden architecture of power and the quiet negotiations that take place far from public view. His novels combine intelligence, finance, and understated tension with a deep interest in the people who operate inside those worlds.

He was born in Montreal, Canada, studied at Lower Canada College, and holds a degree in Russian Studies from the University of Western Ontario where he developed a broader understanding of political systems, history, and the interplay of culture and strategy.

He started his career in Airline Telecommunications and has worked with some of the largest mining companies, beer conglomerates and airline support businesses in the world,

Jules’s fiction reflects a fascination with how institutions protect themselves, how loyalty is tested, and how individuals navigate shifting alliances in environments that reward silence and discipline. His characters move through cities like Venice, Vienna, London, and Istanbul, all drawn from places he has studied, lived in, or returned to over many years. Outside of writing, Jules is an avid skier, horseback rider, and sailor. He enjoys travelling with his family, exploring the histories of the places that inspire his work, and researching the political and cultural threads that inform his novels.

He lives with his wife and two children.
