Nicholas Pennia

Nicholas Pennia is a firefighter, writer, and lifelong student of human resilience. Born and raised as a typical kid in the 80s, he built his career through years of service on the frontline, facing fires, emergencies, and situations that test the limits of courage and compassion. Those real experiences—smoke, trauma, and the quiet moments after a rescue—became the emotional core of his crime-thriller writing.

Nicholas has studied in multiple universities across Latin America and the United States, expanding his knowledge in leadership, emergency response, crisis management, and human behavior. He is currently furthering his education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), deepening his understanding of systems, technology, and decision-making under pressure.

Beyond his profession, Nicholas is a devoted husband and father of three children, two of whom are on the autism spectrum. Their unique ways of seeing the world have profoundly shaped his empathy, strength, and the emotional depth woven into his characters.
