Marcus K. Roth

Marcus K. Roth writes science fiction about blue-collar crews, impossible odds, and the stubborn hope that keeps found families together. He spent decades working in IT before retiring to chase the stories that had been rattling in his head for years. Now he builds universes where the underdog gets a name, the tools matter as much as the heroes, and ships are held together by grit, loyalty, and the occasional questionable weld.

His Scav King series began as a thought experiment and turned into a five-book adventure full of heart, strange physics, and characters who refuse to be statistically acceptable losses. Marcus lives in the Midwest, fueled by caffeine, curiosity, and an irrational fear of long silence in the cockpit.

When he’s not writing, he’s usually worldbuilding, listening to his sons talk about engineering and flight plans, or imagining what might be hiding in the static between stars.
