Nick Memphis

Nick Memphis is a dog trainer, author, and award-winning photographer who believes every dog has a story worth hearing. His work blends behavior science with real life experience from years spent helping families understand the dogs standing right in front of them. Nick wrote Civil Canines to change the way people think about leadership, responsibility, and the emotional lives of their dogs. When he isn’t training or writing, you can find him behind the camera or with his German Shepherd, Nacho, who inspired much of his approach to calm, grounded living.
