Amma Mamma is a children’s author, songwriter, and storyteller creating joyful, imagination-filled books for young readers and the grown-ups who love reading with them.
After more than 40 years of farm life - raising cattle, sheep, horses, stock dogs, and all the usual small farmyard animals - she began writing the kinds of stories she most loved sharing with her grandchildren: playful, heart-centered books that invite participation, laughter, and big imagination. Today, she brings her characters to life through books, music, and interactive performances for families, classrooms, and libraries.
Her growing collection includes the lively Henry Habanero books, where a spirited pepper enjoys the friendship and help of his friends, and Tales from the Sheep Barn: The Ewe Joint, a warm and humorous barnyard world filled with unforgettable sheep characters like Solomon, Nester, and Clementine. She is also the author of I Am Me, I’m the Only Me, a celebration of big imagination. She creates companion activities and family game cards featuring her book characters, along with a downloadable activity book available through her website and at live events.
