About the Author

Walter Simson graduated from Columbia University and NYU's Stern School of Business. He works with family companies and equity investors to quickly create a plan that the firm's own team can implement to achieve enduring profitability and transformation. He's completed 60+ middle-market turnarounds, developing the Core Product/Core Customer framework presented in this book.

The book was inspired by David Ogilvie's classic "Confessions of an Advertising Man," which admonishes the reader "be indispensable." This book will make company consultants, coaches and leaders indispensable in their own right.

Walter lives with his wife Valerie, in Irvine, California.
