Aria Koberg

Aria Koberg is a senior in high school. She is a varsity track and basketball athlete and races for the Lake Travis Mountain Bike Team. As the founder of First Gear Events and Mini Riders, a girls-only summer mountain bike camp offered in multiple states, Aria has worked to empower young girls to build confidence, resilience, and grit both on and off the trails.

Inspired by real experiences in her mountain biking journey, she writes stories that encourage girls to explore nature, try new challenges, develop a strong growth mindset, and believe in their own strength. Her goal is to help young readers discover the joy of confidence-building activities, outdoor sports, and positive role models in children’s literature.

Aria is a GRiT (Girls Riding Together) Ambassador for the National Interscholastic Cycling Association and winner of the 2024-2025 GRiT Inspiration Award for her efforts in raising awareness, empowering young riders, and building a strong, supportive girls’ mountain biking community.
