D. Blake Washington is a therapist, writer, and member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. A former English teacher and lifelong advocate for men’s and boys’ mental health, he brings a unique perspective that bridges literature, psychology, and lived experience. His work explores survival, identity, and the search for meaning through both clinical practice and creative expression. Washington lives in Northern Colorado, where he continues his work as a psychotherapist while developing Trailhead Integrative Therapy, a practice rooted in nature, storytelling, and holistic healing.
