Sharell Pruitt is a Houston-based author, educator, and survivor whose mission is to give a voice to the stories too often kept in silence. Through her powerful memoir I Better Not, she opens the door to her personal journey through abuse, self-discovery, and reclaiming her strength. With honesty and courage, Sharell writes to empower women to break cycles, speak their truth, and heal. When she isn’t writing, she dedicates her time to teaching, mentoring, and raising her daughter with love, faith, and resilience.
