Anna D'Alessandro

Italian-born Anna D'Alessandro had always shown a passion for writing. During her career she has covered jobs in marketing, tech delivery and project management. Often writing comms pieces for work, she never thought about writing fiction until recently. She published her debut novella, The famous girl, in February 2025. The book recounts the story of a girl who is dead but desperately trying to stay alive and introduces the reader to a light-touch journey on espionage. Set in London, readers will follow the tale of Synne who yearns for freedom and a normal life her friends take for granted. Anna is currently writing a sequel which will go deeper into events leading up to Synne's struggle. The sequel will take the reader further afield than London, touching Warsaw and Vienna and exploring the intricate political events of the 1990s. Aside from writing, Anna is passionate about geo-politics, crafting and cooking.
